How To Set Up PDF Escape Submit Button

PDF Escape is an online tool that allows you to create fillable PDF forms that can be submitted by email. In this guide, we'll show you how to set up PDF Escape submit button.

Step 1: Create a Fillable PDF Form

  1. Go to PDF Escape website and select "Create New PDF" button.
  2. Select the "Form Field" button in the left-hand sidebar.
  3. Add the form fields that you want to include in your form, such as text boxes, drop-down menus, or checkboxes.
  4. Save your form by clicking on the "Save & Download" button.

Step 2: Add Submit Button

  1. After creating the fillable PDF form, click on the "Form Field" button in the left-hand sidebar.
  2. Select the "Button" form field from the list of available form fields.
  3. Drag and drop the button to where you want it on the form.
  4. Resize the button to the appropriate size.
  5. Right-click on the button and select "Properties".
  6. In the "Options" tab, select "Submit form" from the "Select Action" drop-down menu.
  7. In the "Submit to URL" field, enter the email address that you want the form to be sent to.
  8. In the "Subject" field, enter the subject line for the email.
  9. Save your changes by clicking on the "Save & Close" button.

Step 3: Add email button to PDF

  1. After creating the email button, click on it to open the "Properties" dialog box.
  2. In the "Options" tab, select "Submit form" from the "Select Action" drop-down menu.
  3. In the "Submit to URL" field, enter the email address that you want the form to be sent to.
  4. In the "Subject" field, enter the subject line for the email.
  5. Save your changes by clicking on the "Save & Close" button.
